The centre was started in 1936.
Activities :
- Two higher secondary schools one with 2175 boys and the other with 1595 girls.
- Two primary schools with 1993 children.
- A hostel with 74 boys.
- Two libraries having 13,647 books.
- A cultural centre for children.
- A health centre where 7457 patients were treated this year.
- Religious classes every evening for the benefit of 200 destitute children who were also given books, uniforms, and nutritious food.
- Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda and other religious celebrities.
